Australia's worst paedophile had 2500 victims
Over two decades, only ending in 1979 thanks to his suicide, Clarence Henry Howard-Osborne abused well over 2500 young victims. Clarence Osborne would take nude photographs of the young boys, it would be a mother of one of those young boys overhearing him talk about one of these photo shoots that would ultimately lead police to Clarence Osborne's door.
It was during Clarence Osborne's arrest at his Eyre St home in Mount Gravatt, Queensland, that police would search a shed containing thousands of photos of naked children along with sound recordings of Clarence Osborne's conversations with his victims, all meticulously labeled & filed away victim by victim. After being questioned by police in Brisbane's head office, two detective's drove Clarence Osborne home without charge where he would burn a portion of his files before finally committing suicide by gassing himself inside his car.
But Clarence Osborne didn't just record the details of his victims he also had a long list of other paedophiles that included leading figures of Australian society, involving heads of the state judiciary all the way to the highest levels of government & the police force, all whom Clarence Osborne met during his career as a well respected court stenographer.
Early this year Clarence Osborne's & the possibility of a child sex ring operating inside Australia was brought brought to the attention of the public after former police officers spoke out in an article in the Courier Mail. Just days after, Ray Hadley held an interview on 2GB radio with Hetty Johnston the head & founder of Bravehearts, a organization that prevents child sexual abuse Hetty & Ray both reiterated the need for a proper investigation into Clarence Osborne so that we can know how far his crimes truly went.
